The hike to Mount Batur’s sunrise viewpoint is considered a moderately challenging trek and is suitable for all ages, as long as participants are physically able to walk for approximately two hours up and 2 hours down. No technical climbing experience is needed, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended to enjoy the hike comfortably. To ensure safety and personal attention, our group sizes are kept small limited to just four guests unless a larger group is requested. This allows for a relaxed, supportive atmosphere where you can fully enjoy the journey and take in the incredible views with guidance from our experienced local team.
